Info about the sky texture


It's very simple to make a sky in QERadiant. Only give the ceiling a sky texture, to do this press t and enter sky and then select the texture



Now go to the entity inspector and enter this:
KEY: skyname VALUE: the name of a envsky, for example desert


The values of an envsky set


If you want to make a own envsky set you have to keep the following values in mind:

The size of the pictures:
- Width = 256 pixel
- Height = 256 pixel
- Resolution = 72 DPI

And the format is *.bmp and *.tga

The names of the pictures:
the ground = namedn
the ceiling = nameup
the 1. wall = nameft
the 2. wall = namelf
the 3. wall = namebk
the 4. wall = namert

The path where they have to be put:
..\Half-Life\valve\gfx\env\
