Sorry, that this note comes
so late! For the last two years I was very busy
with finishing school and later with my military
service of nine month! Therefore I'm completely
out of business concerning everything around QERadiant,
GtkRadiant and Half-Life editing! So for my part
is this "The End",
I won't continue this resource!

entity definitions
- Tiger
A entitylist for "Day
of Defeat" (the HL mod) is available
right now. This list was created by EvilGrin
so if there're any problems with *.def file
then let him know!
I added his definitions to the "HL-entitylists.zip",
so feel free to download it and make some
cool day of defeat maps with QERadiant!

cause I'm very busy with my last year on school

Update!

I got this e-mail from
Evan
Sims: I
wrote a little app just now to simplify the
process of loading QERadiant with the Half
Life DLL, by automating the moving of the
plugin DLL around. This
little app is now included in the Half-Life-Plugin
ZIP file and the information about how to
use this app are included in the Setting
up QERadiant and the HL plug-in
tutorial. Check it out
and thanx to Evan
Sims.
Prefab Overviews -
Tiger
The official Half-Life
prefabs which come along with WorldCraft are
now also available for QERadiant users. All
these prefabs (ca 146) are included in this
zip
file so you only have to extract them
to your prefabs directory and you are ready
to go. I also had made four
prefab overviews where you could find
pictures and information to most of the prefabs.
New Bug-
Tiger
I find out that QEradiant
1.47 can't open *.map files which were saved
under WorldCraft 3.3. You can read more about
it in the bug section.

Some
Updates - Tiger
As you can see I have
changed the design of the news page to a more
modern look, the same I did with the news
archive so that both pages look same.
Also I brought the files
and links section
up to date and cleaned them from the dead
links. At last I updated the contact/staff
page with a small site history. Bugs?!?

Even I tested the new design with a few web-browsers
there might be some smaller problems (mostly
with Netscape). So if you notice a bug please
drop me a line and tell me the problem, your
browser type and your currant screen resolution.

And again I had to put
up a new counter. Also it doesn't look as
good as the old ones it is the best solution
at the moment (till I find a better free counter).

At the moment I'm planing a tutorial about
realistic water, with some cool water effects
like waterfalls, pushing water and so on.

design tutorial.
This time it's dealing about the sky in outdoor
levels. The first part is more theoretical
and deals with the basic principle of the
sky. And the second part is about the light_environment
and it's functions. Check it out.

design tutorials -

Here we go again with
three new design tutorials all dealing with
realistic rocks. The first
one is a kind of overview
again. In this tutorial I'll show four different
examples of rock styles. The next one will
show you how to built a basic but good looking
rock-wall also
with some techniques which could be used to
make it more detailed. The last tutorial is
about some additional
rock styles which can be useful if you
need a more complex and detailed rock-wall.

The
first design tutorial -
Tiger
After this long break
I finally find the time to write the first
design tutorials. Both are dealing with different
techniques of creating a realistic ground.
The first one
is more an overview of four different ground
styles and the second
one shows a way to create a good looking
ground by using triangular brushes. So if
you are interested in good looking environment
you really have to check out this tutorials.

I'm planing some more
tutorials all dealing with realistic environmental
stuff like rocks, sky, water and so on. I'll
